Gap between skirting, architrave and wall in the second bedroom - angle not quite right. 
Obvious - skirts do not align.
This may not be easy to see but this is not a defect I can live with. The door jamb and architrave are not straight resulting in a jutting out piece. Also, there is an obvious gap between the door jamb and the skirting board. This is not acceptable. Will see what the SS thinks.
Hard to see but the length of the lower skirt is about 1mm too long, resulting in a sharp angle and a gap with the skirt on the left. Should be an easy fix.Below are just some more shots.
In the dark - the vanity in the powder room. Doesn't look like much yet. We, quite excessively, paid extra for a granite benchtop in here.

Doorway to bedroom. These are the sort of features I love about Henley builds: Rebated doorway, bulkhead through to dressing room and bedroom, opening up onto 9 foot ceilings. Just so not boring and these touches make all the difference to the overall aesthetics. Also - heritage archs (paid extra).
Laundry base cabinets. Need a clean!
Timber bi-fold doors for the study. Antique Ceramica glass up close.
The doors full length. Looking forward to setting up the study, working and studying has not been easy over the last couple of years - our current "study" is really a draughty, leaky extension to our rental. It is also cluttered and musty as the ceiling leaks with every good downpour. I cannot wait to move!

This is quite pretty, why they cant do the job right at the first time. We spend so much money, time and get stressed till the end of building process and they just take it easy.
Hopefully things will go fine. Liked your door, are these upgrades?
We also thought of rendering, was quite expensive. Are you going through Henley or with so others?

We are going through Henley to render, and there were lots of different levels of render we could have had from part to full render, all fairly expensive as you said. We are thinking we may do window mouldings later on but will wait and see what the finished house looks like first. Good Luck!

Finally we signed the tender. We wanted cavity sliding doors with glass for family(Regatta 288), but due to maintenance issues they said no. So we choose to go with hinged door with glass. Just wondering how much your door cost.
